Default any interest in JP 500 part out or for sale?

I havent done a darn thing with Brian's JP500 since I bought it over a year ago. I would like to sell it for around $5500 I paid - but with the economy the way it is, that highly unlikely. So I guess the other option is to part it out. Its got a fair amount of TRX chasis stuff I could use on my TRXs and the motor could be a spare for one of my zillas...

    anyone interested in this stuff
    JP frame of course.
Really this probably needs to be a package deal with the steering stem, subframe, rear swinger, rear linkage, rear shock, aluminum air box, and grab bar as I think they are custom pieces to make this frame a LT/TRX hybrid. I guess I could include the pro-pegs with it as well
no front end (shocks, A-arms, hubs, etc.) or front bumper as those pieces will work on a TRX

    yellow plastics
    LT250r gastank w/ LT500r RX'd petcock - needs new o-ring

    graves 87-92 style seat

LT250r axle with hubs - 4*110 bolt pattern

    rear axle carrier 85-86 style

    rear caliper-brakes-etc.

    LT250r radiator

    dual gasser throttle and cable

thats all I can briefly think of at the moment. I think if I could get around $3500 for these parts then I could probably justify parting it out and keeping the motor-pipe-carb-electronics, tires/wheels, +2 protrax front end.

    So anyone interested in anything???

I dont know where to start. basically summer 2012 Im planning to get a place with my gf which means some where much closer to the city and no where to keep 10+ race quads.. in addition to the 3 suzuki zillas I have 3 trx 250rs and parts to build at least one more, 2 blasters, 2 350xs, a 450r and a couple other misc atvs. I can probably keep 2-3 of them and another 4 or so at my dads. by far the most $$$ one and yet also the one that doesnt get used at all is the JP500 - so thats the first one in my mind I have to figure out what to do with.... I am no rush to sell before Xmas or anything, but the time will be coming soon

according to Brian, this was one of the first aftermarket "outlaw" suzukis to have a zilla motor transplant and was featured in a 3&4 wheel action story back in the 90s. to a few of us I would think its definitely a rare collectors item, but Im a rider not a museum keeper. its a shame to part it out, but as I said I dont see anyone stepping up to pay $5500 for it so I dont know what else to do. at least keeping the frame/swinger/steering stem/subframe/rear shock/airbox/etc. will keep the core of the unique LT/TRX together and you can add your own zilla motor and trx 250r or 450r front end to it.
so consider this a 6 month notice of it being for sale, I would love nothing more than someone coming up with $5500 to buy it. If not (based upon the fact that a used aftermarket TRX frame is in the $1200 range) the jp chasis package I would like to get ~$2500
    rear carrier would be $75
this is all up for bartering since I have a few other quads that can interchange parts with....

best bet you got is Serg, I know that he is looking for a hybrid. and he is close to you.
you guys need to make a deal, instead of parting it out.
